SCRIPTSCENE/RWA - FOUNDER

Neringa Bryant has been a RWA member since 1981.  She has served as speaker, board member, judge and committee chair at local, regional and national conferences. In 1999, she initiated Scriptscene/RWA an online chapter when she understood the power of scriptwriting techniques in all forms of writing.


Neringa switched to the screenwriting format when she wrote a script for the television series, Beauty and the Beast   (It was read and accepted by the producer, but the series was canceled.)

Besides working as a crew member on ten films, including a documentary for HMEA.org. She has written eight features, a few teleplays, a series bible, The Rogues and produced a short, 35mm film Eternal Embrace; filmed completely in Massachusetts. Neringa wrote, produced & directed a children's short, Who Murdered Mr. Wrinkles?, it is in post-production.

Neringa has also teamed with another writer for her ninth screenplay, a romantic suspense titled, BLOOD OIL. It is about an inventor who finds his wife murdered in their backyard after inventing a gasoline substitute.
