During that time she wrote monthly feature
articles for the magazine. Then she decided that getting
paid to write was too easy, and took up the craft of
writing fiction. So now instead of getting $1 per word
for 1500 words, she gets paid nothing for 80,000 words,
or 110 script pages, but hopes it will someday include
a paycheck.
Jamie, along with two other screenwriters, and a Hollywood
development executive, started the weekly Twitter Chat
called Script Chat. She is currently polishing a drama
she plans to enter for the Nicholl Fellowships, and
putting the finishing touches on a romance script.
